The deal provides Launtel with additional capacity and resilience across their national network, allowing them to deliver a more reliable service to their business and residential nbn customers Australia-wide.

The three-year deal that leverages Superloop’s redundant links to 118 nbn POIs around Australia is expected to be worth more than $5 million over the life of the contract.

This backhaul forms an integral part of Launtel’s expanding national network of intercap links, DC POPs, peering and IP transit,” says Launtel Chief Technology Officer, Damian Ivereigh.

Superloop’s very own Group Executive, Business and Wholesale, Daisey Stampfer added,

Launtel’s reputation as an internet service provider with speed, reliability, and flexibility at its core, makes this a terrific partnership by leveraging Superloop Wholesale’s high capacity and reliable POI backhaul services across Australia.

Superloop has a long-stated goal to lead challenger brands to a 30% market share here in Australia, and this wholesale backhaul partnership with Launtel helps deliver exactly that” continues Stampfer.

We’ve seen Australians refreshing their internet in droves, switching to challenger ISPs like Launtel that deliver a great experience by prioritising customer service, providing flexible contract-free plans, fast speeds, and importantly, reliability,” concludes Stampfer.
