That makes it three consecutive wins across 2025 and into 2026, extending our unbroken run of Ookla recognition and making Superloop the only Australian internet provider to hold the award for three successive periods.

Ookla analysed millions of consumer-initiated speed tests across Australia over each six-month period, assigning each ISP a speed score based on network throughput and responsiveness, combining download and upload speeds alongside latency.

From 1 January to 30 June 2026, Superloop recorded the highest Speed Score™ of any fixed network provider in Australia.

For us, three in a row says a lot about the network we’re building and the consistency customers are experiencing every day, whether they’re at home, running a business or relying on us for enterprise connectivity.

We’ve invested meaningfully in our network, and three consecutive Ookla Speedtest Awards tells us that investment is working, for homes, businesses and enterprise customers right across the country,” said Superloop’s CEO Paul Tyler. “Three awards in a row reflects the consistent performance of Superloop’s network as measured by Ookla.

We’re pleased to recognise Superloop with the Speedtest Award for Fastest Fixed Network in Australia for the third consecutive period,” said Stephen Bye, President and CEO of Ookla. “This result is based on millions of consumer-initiated tests across Australia and reflects sustained network performance that Superloop’s customers are experiencing every day.

Superloop's Speed Score of 67.72 was 7.9% higher than the second-placed provider with a score of 62.78, and its median download speed of 304.01 Mbps was 45.2% faster than the next-highest result of 209.32 Mbps. Superloop also recorded the fastest median upload speed (50.82 Mbps) and the lowest loaded latency on download (81.71ms) among the six providers assessed, reflecting consistent performance across both throughput and responsiveness metrics.

This latest Ookla Speedtest Award adds to a strong run of independent recognition for Superloop.

In the past six months alone, the company has taken out NBN Provider of the Year at Finder's Broadband Awards, recognised by Canstar for their High Speed NBN Plan, multiple wins at the 2026 WeMoney Telco & Broadband Awards, anaward-winning network for gamers recognition from TechRadar, and a Top Rated Provider rating on ProductReview.com.au, the latter determined entirely by more than 11,000 customer reviews. Taken together, the awards reflect consistent performance across measured network speed, gaming-specific performance, and everyday customer experience.

We’re one of Australia’s fastest growing broadband retailers, and we’re continuing to invest in the network infrastructure that helps keep Australian homes and businesses connected every day. That includes our Infrastructure-on-Demand platform spanning fibre, fixed wireless and subsea cable assets.
