Connecting with Bradfield city before it’s even built

On Sunday 19 April, Superloop joined more than 1000 community members at the Bradfield City Community Day, celebrating one of the most exciting developments in Australia today.

As the future digital infrastructure provider for Bradfield City, this wasn’t just another event for us. It was an opportunity to meet the people who will one day live, work and connect through the Superloop network we’re building.

Across the day, families, future residents and local communities stopped by the Superloop stand to learn more about what a truly connected city looks like. And yes, there was some healthy competition at our Kick to Win challenge, with plenty of future football stars (and a few competitive parents) stepping up.

Bradfield gives us the rare opportunity to design a connected city from the ground up,” said Jason Ashton, Group Executive of Corporate Development and Smart Communities. “Together with OneWiFi, Superloop is helping bring Bradfield City to life with free public Wi-Fi across the city and smart infrastructure including our Multi-Function Poles (MFP). Superloop is also delivering the city’s ultra-fast fibre-to-the-premises network and the underlying fibre infrastructure that underpins both the Wi-Fi and MFP capability.

But beyond the technology, the real highlight was the conversations.

From curious kids to future homeowners, people wanted to understand what better connectivity means for their everyday lives. Work, education, entertainment, opportunity. The internet isn’t just infrastructure. It’s access.

Residents of the Bradfield Community will experience a seamless and fast activation moving into their fibre‑ready homes the moment they get their keys,” said Daisey Stampfer, Group Executive, Business & Wholesale. “Bradfield City is a once-in-a-generation chance to build a city that’s connected from day one.

Superloop is proud to play a role in the Bradfield’s future. One that is connected, future-ready and designed with people at its centre.
